My Painted House Foundation is focused on providing orphaned children in Africa with a safe home and the opportunity to build a better life. Our first aim is to take care of life's basic necessities by providing these children with a safe, livable environment. Once they have a place to call home, we offer them education and a program of practical entrepreneurial skills. Our underlying principle is one of personal empowerment, giving orphaned children the education, tools, and opportunities they need to create sustainable, independent futures.
